Boring Walls? Consider Wall Panelling!

Updated: Jun 1, 2023

Can't agree on a wallpaper but find your walls a bit boring? Have you considered wall panelling instead?

There are so many different styles of wall panelling that are easily created and installed either by yourself or by a professional depending on your skill level! There are plenty of online tutorials too if you are feeling brave! You can now also buy packs or ready made MDF wall panelling which makes it even easier to DIY in a weekend!

Most importantly, chose a wall panelling style that suits the style and age of the house. I was desperate to use vertical pieces of wood to give a more scandi feel but however much I tried it looked incongruous with my (neo) Georgian style house (bottom image below).
